The protest is planned to take place on a macro level Saturday 21st of July, although proceedings have already started on a small scale.
White, blue and yellow flowers are set to adorn the feet of the bronze Billy, in an attempt to take advantage of the statue's high media profile.
The protest is to come after a hectic few months at Elland Road, in which the club's future has been made doubtful due to having been relegated to League 1 and consequently placed into administration.
Although not set to be an anti-Ken Bates protest per se, many of the organizers feel that the protest will be an ideal catalyst for the removal of the highly controversial ex-Chelsea chairman. |
